1. Personal rights

I hereby confirm that by submitting personal metadata (name and surname of the participating scientists) I act in consent with all persons whose data I enter. I also confirm that I do not violate any personal rights by omitting the name of any participating scientist.

2. Personal data

I hereby confirm that the research data submitted to DepositOnce do not infringe any personal rights. All test persons have consented to the data collection. If personal data are contained in the research results they are in general completely anonymized according to canonical standards and the test persons have consented to the publication of the anonymized data.

If personal data are not anonymized the test persons have explicitly consented to the publication of their personal data. All possible insight and re-use of these non-anonymized data by third parties is subject to the requirements of data protection law and requires individual consent by me as the data provider.

3. Storing of e-mail addresses and names

In the DepositOnce software, the e-mail address is used as a "unique identifier" for a user account and is linked to the published record. The software also requires the user's first name and last name for the processing routine. E-Mail address, first and last name are not displayed in DepositOnce, but are used solely for internal system processing. I hereby agree that my e-mail address and my first and last name are stored in the DepositOnce system when I submit and publish a record in DepositOnce.

4. Deposit license

In order for DepositOnce to store and distribute your submission worldwide, you have to agree to the following terms.

DepositOnce Deposit license

This includes all known and as yet unknown types of use.

2. I give permission to TU Berlin to pass the document on to other libraries, archives, and if necessary, aggregators for the purpose of digital archiving and/or making it publicly available. This includes, for example, the digital archive of the German National Library, as well as other appropriate subject or regional repositories.

3. I give permission for the publication of the metadata, including the abstract, under the Creative Commons Zero license.

4. I agree with the creation of copies and the conversion of the document to other electronic or physical formats for the purpose of archiving while preserving the integrity of the content.

Declaration of copyright and personal rights

1. I assure that I own the copyright of all parts of the work and that the publication will not infringe on third-party rights, in particular third-party personal rights or copyright. If alleged or actual infringement of the rights of third parties is asserted, I will notify the repository operator immediately. I exempt the Technische Universität Berlin from any claims of third parties.(*)

2. I assure that the electronic version is identical in form and content to potentially existing print versions.(*)

3. If the document or its metadata contain any personal information, I agree with their publication.

(*) Note on Open Access self-archiving: If checking the legal conditions and requirements for self-archiving is provided as a service by the University Library, the paragraph on exemption of claims by third parties does not apply. In the case of self-archiving, § 3 (2) does not apply, i.e. print and online version do not have to be identical.
