The research data include a PDF file describing the renovation scenarios used in the paper. These renovation scenarios are created from one of the partners involved in the BIM-Speed project which this paper is also funded by. The information about the grant number for the project is mentioned in the paper.

It also includes three BEM files of the renovation case study in Gdynia, Poland. One showing the as-built situation of the building and three showing the three renovation alternatives including window modification, roof modification and external wall modification.
The renovation alternative BEMs are created by the author based on the information in the table of the renovation scenarios.
These datasets are in IDF file format which is a native EnergyPlus format, so it is possible to run energy simulations on that in EnergyPlus. Other softwares such as OpenStudio can open this file format as well.
