The Rh-catalyzed aqueous biphasic hydroformylation with the bidentate ligand SulfoXantPhos was investigated for different phase transfer agents (PTA). As such, polymer latices and microemulsions formed by non-ionic surfactants were used. In general, a higher PTA concentration enhances the reaction progress.
