Solche geschlossenen Linien haben sich als die beste Möglichkeit zur Wahrnehmung von Feldern erwiesen. Entweder wird ein bestimmter Zeitpunkt dargestellt (3D) oder man stellt die Entwicklung und Wanderung in einem Zeitintervall dar (4D). Zur Verfolgung des Linienverlaufs werden numerische Verfahren zur Lösung der Differential- gleichungen benutzt. | de |
| dc.description.abstract | The existence of at least one surface of symmetry ensures the closure of the field lines to form closed loops. Using the field line as mean of a visualization has proven to be the best way for our perception to configure the concept of fields. Either the visualization depicts one instant, taken at one desired time, or depicts the field lines development and propagation over an interval of time. Tracing a field line point for point is conducted by using a numerical approach for solving first order differential equations. | en |
