| de |
dc.description.abstract | This work describes the syntheses and the characterisation of the three novel phosphane ligands 2,6-bis(2-methyl-1,3-bis(dimethylphosphino)propan-2-yl)-pyridine (1Me), 2,6-bis(2-methyl-1,3-bis(di-iso-propylphosphino)propan-2-yl)-pyridine (1iPr) and 2-(2-methyl-1,3-bis(dimethyl-phosphino)propan-2-yl)-6-(2-methyl-1-(dimethylphosphino)propan-2-yl)-pyridine (2), the complexation reactions of these compounds with Ni(II)-, Co(II)-, Ru(II)- and Fe(II)salts as well as reactivity studies of some metal complexes. Lithiumdimethylphosphide (7) can be synthesized in a five step synthesis via the intermedi-ates tetramethyldiphosphanedisulphide (3), chlorodimethylphosphanesulphide (4), chlorodi-methylphosphane (5) and dimethylphosphane (6). Lithiumdiisopropylphosphide (9) can be achieved in a similar reaction from diisopropylphosphane (8). 1Me can be synthesized via the compounds 2,6-bis(2-methyl-1,3-bis(p-toluolsulfonyl)propan-2-yl)-pyridine (10) and 2,6-bis(2-methyl-1,3-dibromo-propan-2-yl)-pyridine (11). During the reaction of 1Me with NO, compound 2,6-bis(2-methyl-1,3-bis(dimethylphosphanoxido)propan-2-yl)-pyridine (12) was formed. Starting from 2-ethylpyridine, 2 can be achieved via the four intermediates (2-isopropylpyridine (13), 2-ethyl-6-isopropylpyridine (14), 2-(2-methyl-1,3-dihydroxy-propan-2-yl)-6-(2-methyl-1-hydroxy-propan-2-yl)-pyridine (15), 2-(2-methyl-1,3-dimethansulfonyl-propan-2-yl)-6-(2-methyl-1-methansulfonyl-propan-2-yl)-pyridine (16) and 2-(2-methyl-1,3-dibromo-propan-2-yl)-6-(2-methyl-1-bromo-propan-2-yl)-pyridine (17). The complexation of 1Me and 1iPr with NiX2 • 6 H2O or CoX2 • 6 H2O with X = BF4 or ClO4 yields the complexes [py(PMe2)4Ni](BF4)2 (18), [py(PMe2)4Ni](ClO4)2 (19), [py(PiPr2)4Ni](BF4)2 (20), [py(PMe2)4Co](BF4)2 (21), [py(PMe2)4Co](ClO4)2 (22) or [py(PiPr2)4Co](BF4)2 (25). While passing a stream of carbon monoxide into a solution of 22 in methanol, [py(PMe2)4Co(CO)2](ClO4)2 (23) was formed; while passing a stream of dioxygen into a solu-tion of 21 [((py{PMe2}2{OPMe2}2{CH3CN}3)Co)2Co](BF4)6 (24) was formed. The iron com-plexes [Fe(pyP3)-(CH3)(PMe2OCH3)](BF4)2 (26), [Fe(pyP3)(CH2)(PMe2OCH3)]ClO4 (27), [Fe(pyP3)(CH2)(PMe2OCH3)]BF4 (28), [Fe(pyP3)(CH3)(PMe2OCH3)](ClO4)2 (29), [Fe(pyP3)(CH2D)(PMe2-OCD3)](BF4)2 (30), [Fe(pyP3)(CH2)(PMe2OCD3)]ClO4 (31), [Fe(pyP3)(CH2)(PMe2OCD3)]-BF4 (32), [Fe(pyP3)(CH3)(PMe2OC2H5)](BF4)2 (33), [Fe(pyP3)(CH2)(PMe2OCH3)]Br2 (34), [Fe(pyP3)(CH3)(PMe2OH)](BF4)2 (35 or 35 • H2O), [Fe(pyP3)(CH3)(PMe2OH)](ClO4)2 (36) and [Fe(pyP4)(CH3CN)](CF3SO3)2 (37) were formed by reacting 1Me with the corresponding metal salts in different solvents. The reaction of 26 and 30 with dioxygen yields the compounds [Fe(pyP3)(CH2)(PMe2OCH3)](BF4)2 (38) and [Fe(pyP3)(CH2)(PMe2OCD3)](BF4)2 (39). [Fe(pyP4)(CO)](BF4)2 (40) was achieved from 28 during the reaction with carbon monoxide in an autoclave. The complexation of 2 with Ni(BF4)2 • 6 H2O in acetonitrile leads to the formation of [Ni(pyP3)(CH3CN)](BF4)2 (41) and [Ni(pyP3)(CH3CONH2)](BF4)2 (42). 42 reacts with LiBr yielding [Ni(pyP3)Br](BF4)2 (43). [Ni(Me2P(O)H)6](BF4)2 (44) is a by-product of the complexation reaction of 2 with Ni(BF4)2 • 6 H2O in DMSO. Mixing methyldiethylphosphinite (45) and 2 in methanol yields the two products [Fe(pyP3)(CH3)(PEt2OCH3)](BF4)2 (46) and [Fe(pyP3)(CH3)(PEt2(H))](BF4)2 (47). [Ru(pyP3)2(Cl)2]n (48) can be synthesized while reacting 2 with Ru(PPh3)3Cl2 . All described compounds have been fully characterised, including X-ray structure analyses of the compounds 3, 11, 18, 19, 21, 24, 26, 27, 28, 30, 33, 34, 35, 35 • H2O, 37, 38, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44 and 47. | en |
