| dc.description.abstract | Die Geschichte des Menschen ist eine Geschichte des Umganges mit Technik. Gegen die meisten widrigen Umwelteinflüsse hoffnungslos unterausgestattet ist der Mensch existenziell darauf angewiesen, seine Mängel zu kompensieren und sich mit Artefakten zu umgeben. Doch nicht nur seine Umwelt, sondern auch er selbst ist Teil der Technisierung. Er kann nicht nur ihr Subjekt, sondern auch ihr Objekt sein. Ein spezieller und äußerst voraussetzungsvoller Begriff im Kontext der Technisierung ist das sogenannte ‚Doping’. In Form des Dopings im freizeitmäßigen Bodybuilding ist es im Alltag zahlreicher Menschen angekommen. Durch seine Untersuchung lassen sich grundsätzliche Aspekte der Interaktion von Individuum, Gesellschaft, Technik und Wirtschaft mit dem Angelpunk des Körperbegriffes deutlich aufzeigen. Die Analyse des Dopings und der verbundenen Konzepte von ‚Sport’ und ‚Körper’ deckt die paradoxe Situation auf, dass die sichtbare Beherrschung des Körpers und der Bewegung als symbolische Substitution der Ohnmacht in der Welt interpretiert werden kann. Der Begriff des ‚Dopings’ fungiert als Platzhalter für die Käuflichkeit und Möglichkeit zur Degradierung des Selbst, die im Grunde fast jede Anthropotechnik in sich trägt. Die einschlägigen Mittel, mit ihrem teilweise nicht unerheblichen Wirk- und Schadpotential, lassen nur die eigentliche Form der Unterwerfung und des Kontrollverlustes vergessen. | de |
| dc.description.abstract | The history of mankind is a history of dealing with technology. Hopelessly underfed against most of the adverse environmental conditions, humans are existentially dependent on compensating for their shortcomings and surrounding themselves with artifacts. But not only his environment, but also himself is part of the mechanization. He can not only be their subject, but also their object. A special and extremely presupposing term in the context of mechanization is the so-called 'doping'. In the form of doping in recreational bodybuilding, it has arrived in everyday life of many people. Through his investigation, fundamental aspects of the interaction of the individual, society, technology and economy with the pivotal point of the body concept can be clearly demonstrated. The analysis of doping and related concepts of 'sport' and 'body' reveals the paradoxical situation that the visible control of the body and movement can be interpreted as a symbolic substitution of powerlessness in the world. The term 'doping' acts as a placeholder for the purchasability and the possibility of degrading the self, which basically carries almost every anthropotechnology in itself.
