Die baubegleitende Gebäudedokumentation (Band 2.1), das Türen- und Fensterkataster (Band 2.2) sowie die Beilagen (Band 3) sind Teil der Dissertation „Das Collegium Augusteum in Wittenberg. Ein Universitätsgebäude der Frühen Neuzeit“. Das Collegium Augusteum ist ein Kollegiengebäude, welches 1581–82 für die Wittenberger Universität errichtet wurde und sowohl für Lehrzwecke als auch für die Unterbringung von Lehrenden und Studierenden diente. Bis heute ist das Augusteum in seiner Grundstruktur und im Großteil seiner Bausubstanz aus dem 16. Jahrhundert überliefert. Die hier veröffentlichten Bände sind die Forschungsdaten, die im Rahmen der wissenschaftlichen Untersuchung erhoben und ausgewertet wurden. In der baubegleitenden Gebäudedokumentation, welche während der letzten Baumaßnahme (2012–2017) durchgeführt wurde, werden alle abgebrochenen oder temporär freigelegten Bauteile sowie die zu Tage getretenen Baubefunde erfasst und denkmalgerecht dokumentiert. Dazu zählen Böden, Decken- und Dachkonstruktionen sowie Innen- und Außenwände. Die Dokumentation der Türen- und innenliegenden Fenster des Augusteums erfolgte von Mai bis Juli 2013. Das vorliegende Kataster umfasst alle Türen sowie alle innenliegenden Fenster des Gebäudes, die vor dem Umbau des Augusteums 2012–17 eingebaut waren. Mit dem Kataster wird auch eine denkmalpflegerische Bewertung des Türen- und Fensterbestandes vorgenommen. Sowohl die baubegleitende Dokumentation des Gebäudes als auch die Aufnahme der Türen und Fenster erfolgte fotografisch und schriftlich. In Form von Datenblättern werden die jeweiligen Bauteile und Ausstattungen dokumentiert, analysiert und zeitlich eingeordnet. In den Beilagen sind alle Aufmaßzeichnungen, Bauphasenpläne und Kartierungen im Maßstab 1:100 zusammengefasst. Bauphasenpläne wurden für alle Grundrissebenen, Schnitte sowie zwei Fassaden angefertigt.

The building documentation (volume 2.1), the door and window register (volume 2.2) as well as the supplements (volume 3) are part of the dissertation „The Collegium Augusteum in Wittenberg. A University Building of the Early Modern Period“. The Collegium Augusteum is a college building which was erected in 1581-82 for the University of Wittenberg and served both for teaching purposes and for the accommodation of teachers and students. To this day, the Augusteum ist still preserved in its basic structure and most of its 16th century building fabric. The volumes published here are the research data collected and evaluated as part of the scientific investigation. In the building documentation, which was carried out during the last construction project (2012-2017), all demolished or temporarily uncovered building components as well as the building features that have come to light are recorded and documented in accordance with the regulations for historical monuments. This includes floors, ceiling and roof constructions as well as interior and exterior walls. The documentation of the doors and interior windows of the Augusteum was carried out from May to July 2013. The present documentation comprises all doors and all interior windows of the building which were installed before the last construction project in 2012-17. Both the documentation of the building an the documetation of the doors and windows were taken photographically and in writing. In the form of data sheets, the respective components and equipment are documented, analysed and classified in terms of time. All dimension drawings, construction phase plans and mappings on a scale of 1:100 are summarised in the enclosures. Construction phase plans were prepared for all ground plan levels, sections and two facades.
