| de |
dc.description.abstract | In this work, mononuclear Ni and heterobimetallic, dinuclear [NiFe] complexes were synthesised and characterised in the context of ”bioinspired” catalysis with [NiFe]-H2ase and -CODH as rolemodels for the structure and function of the target molecules. The frst part is about a novel silylen-pyridine hybrid-ligand for the coordination of nickel(II) and nickel(0) species and the evaluation of its σ-donor and π-acceptor abilities. The second part is about heterodimeric [NiFe] complexes based on β-diketiminato ligand supported iron building blocks and a redox-active nickel centre with a structurally fexible ligand sphere. Here, a focus laid on the electronic structure elucidation of these paramagnetic complexes, also with regard to potential metal-metal bonding. In the third part, a novel S-oxygenated [NiFe] complex is presented as a structural and vibrational spectroscopic model for sulfenate intermediates of an oxygen-tolerant [NiFe]-H2ase. | en |
