The research also focused on developing optimisation, prevention and protection strategies for the weaknesses identified. The objective is to optimise the quality and durability of built landscape architecture projects in terms of sustainable planning, construction and maintenance processes. The research project was based on the hypothesis that it is possible to optimise design, detailing, construction and maintenance techniques by monitoring and evaluating the development of projects at regular intervals after completion.
