Im Rahmen des Projekts "Social Distancing und neue Raumformen der Interaktion" der Berlin University Alliance (Projektleitung: René Tuma, Hubert Knoblauch, Uwe Flick) wurden videografische Aufzeichnungen hergestellt, mittels derer die neuen Raum- und Interaktionsformen des „Social Distancing“ im Kontext der 2020 ausgebrochenen Covid-19 Pandemie dokumentiert wurden. Ziel war es, audio-visuelle Forschungsdaten zu erheben, auf deren Grundlage ein Verständnis der komplexen, kulturell und situativ organisierten Dynamiken von öffentlichen Begegnungen im Zusammenhang mit dem Infektionsgeschehen und den Hygienemaßnahmen möglich ist. Die Studie erhob deutschlandweit fokussiert ethnographische Daten zur vergleichenden Analyse relevanter Alltagssituationen im öffentlichen Raum. Das Projekt umfasst mehrere regionale Teilstudien.
Diese Teilstudie 1 umfasst in insgesamt 25 Dateien audio-visuelle Forschungsdaten, die in Bayreuth und Umgebung videographisch erhoben wurden. Als ethnographische Felder dienten der Datenerhebung die Universitätsmensa bzw. der Speisesaal der Universität Bayreuth, der Marktplatz der Stadt – hier wurde über den Zeitraum von vier Monaten an drei verschiedenen Tagen die stattfindende Kundgebung von Gegner*innen des Infektionsschutzgesetzes (Anti-IfsG) aufgezeichnet – sowie ein Fitnessstudio in Kulmbach.
Within the framework of the project "Social Distancing and New Spatial Forms of Interaction" of the Berlin University Alliance (project management: René Tuma, Hubert Knoblauch, Uwe Flick), videographic recordings were produced by which the new spatial and interaction forms of "social distancing" were documented. These new forms arose in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic that broke out in 2020. The goal was to collect audio-visual research data on which to base an understanding of the complex, culturally and situationally organized dynamics of public encounters related to the infection event and hygiene measures. The study collected focused ethnographic data across Germany for comparative analysis of relevant everyday situations in public spaces. The project comprises several regional sub-studies.
This sub-study 1 includes audio-visual research data in a total of 25 files, which were collected videographically in Bayreuth and the surrounding area. The ethnographic fields used for the data collection were the university cafeteria/dining hall of the University of Bayreuth, the city's market square - where the rally of opponents of the Infection Protection Act (Anti-IfsG) was recorded on three different days over a period of four months - as well as a fitness studio in Kulmbach.
