Die Entwicklung einer Bildungsdokumentation für die Erfassung naturwissenschaftlicher Potenziale im Übergang von der Kita in die Grundschule

Bereits im Elementarbereich sollen naturwissenschaftliche Begabungspotenziale durch pädagogische Fachkräfte erkannt werden. Gleichzeitig fehlt es an geeigneten Instrumenten, um diese in Bildungseinrichtungen beobachten zu können. In diesem Artikel wird ein Forschungsvorhaben vorgestellt, welches das frühe Erkennen naturwissenschaftlicher Begabungspotenziale im Übergang von der Kita in die Grundschule fokussiert. Das durch einen Design-Based Research (DBR) realisierte qualitative Forschungsvorhaben teilt sich in drei Teilstudien auf, wobei erste Ergebnisse aus Teilstudie 1 berichtet werden. Schwerpunkt in der Teilstudie 1 lag auf einer Bedarfsanalyse hinsichtlich der Übergangsgestaltung zwischen den teilnehmenden Einrichtungen des Projekts, der genutzten Bildungsdokumentation sowie der Erfassung naturwissenschaftlicher Potenziale. Durch die Erfassung der Ausgangslage im Rahmen der Teilstudie 1 konnten erste Gelingensbedingungen hinsichtlich der Konzipierung eines solchen Instruments (NawiKids) ausgemacht werden. Die leitfadengestützten Interviews mit den pädagogischen Fach- und Lehrkräften lieferten zudem wichtige Hinweise hinsichtlich der praktischen Übergangsgestaltung und Dokumentation naturwissenschaftlicher Potenziale. Im Rahmen der Teilstudie 1 wurde überdies ein erster Prototyp der Bildungsdokumentation (NawiKids) zur Potenzialerkennung entwickelt. Die Ergebnisse der Teilstudie 1 werden abschließend hinsichtlich der Relevanz für das Forschungsvorhaben, der Entwicklung einer Bildungsdokumentation, eingeordnet.
Already at the elementary level, scientific talent potentials should be recognized by educational professionals. At the same time, there is a lack of suitable instruments for observing these potentials in educational institutions. In this article, a research project is presented that focuses on the early recognition of scientific talent potential in the transition from daycare to elementary school. The qualitative research project, implemented through a design-based research (DBR) approach, is divided into three sub-studies, with initial findings from sub-study 1 reported. The focus in sub-study 1 was on a needs analysis with regard to the transition design between the participating institutions of the project, the educational documentation used, and the recording of scientific potential. By recording the initial situation in the context of sub-study 1, it was possible to identify the first conditions for success with regard to the conception of such an instrument (NawiKids). The guideline-based interviews with the pedagogical specialists and teachers also provided important information regarding the practical design of the transition and the documentation of scientific potential. In addition, a first prototype of educational documentation (NawiKids) for identifying potential was developed in the context of sub-study 1. Finally, the results of sub-study 1 are classified with regard to their relevance for the research project, the development of an educational documentation.
